The Volcano WLT-12 water-bearing fireplace insert is an economical and environmentally friendly solution for efficiently heating your home and hot water. The Volcano WLT-12 fireplace creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, especially in the cold winter months. The fireplace not only generates heat, but also a pleasant, crackling sound and atmospheric lighting.

Fireplace inserts with a water jacket are an efficient way to save heating costs while creating a cozy atmosphere. By using fireplace inserts with a water jacket, the heat generated can be used not only for the room, but also to heat the entire house. This technology is known as a “water-bearing fireplace”.

A water-bearing fireplace is usually combined with a buffer storage tank, which stores the heat energy and releases it to the house heating system as needed. The buffer storage tank is an important part of the system, as it ensures that the heat energy is available when it is needed.

The fireplace insert has an efficiency of over 80% to 90% and low exhaust gas values (BImSchV Level 2).

Advantages of the fireplace insert:

• The entire fireplace of the Volcano WLT-12 fireplace insert is lined with a water jacket and fireclay, which ensures higher and more stable temperatures within the combustion chamber compared to fireplace inserts without a fireclay insert.

The fireplace insert has an internal heat exchanger. This consists of a special, corrugated coil pipe of an appropriately adapted length, which is immersed in the water jacket. This enables easy connection to the central heating system without the use of an external plate heat exchanger.
