How to Install a Heating Element
How is a heating element installed in a water radiator? We want to answer this question for you. Here, you will receive an installation guide for different heating elements.
This installation guide covers combination radiators, i.e., water and electric-powered, and also purely electric radiators.
Installation of a ONE Heating Element in a Combination Radiator
1. Select the option for where the heating element should be installed in the radiator.
2. Insert the plastic cover.
3. Install the heating element. Hand-tighten it. Do not use sharp tools.
4. Fill the radiator with water and vent it. Open a valve. DO NOT TURN ON THE HEATING ELEMENT if both valves are closed.
5. Connect the device to the power supply.
6. Done!
NOTE: Only use the heating element when the central heating system is turned off.
Installation of a ONE Heating Element in an Electric Radiator
1. Check the correct position of the heating element in the radiator.
2. Insert the plastic cover.
3. Install the heating element and hand-tighten it. Do not use sharp tools.
4. Fill the radiator with a suitable heating medium.
5. Mount the radiator on the wall and connect the device to the power supply.
6. Turn the radiator on at maximum power for 30 minutes (make sure the vent is open during this time).
7. Check the level of the heating medium – refill if necessary (to the level shown in image 7).
8. Close the vent. The radiator is now ready for use.
